Terms
The terms, in plain English
The important part is the first section, and it is not boilerplate.

We are not a law firm
Farvel HQ is not a law firm, and no one here is your attorney. Nothing on this website is legal advice about your situation, and using this website does not create an attorney–client relationship. Nothing you send us is protected by attorney–client privilege.
What we do is prepare documents at your direction and explain how court procedures work in general terms. We do not tell you what you should do, choose a legal strategy for you, represent you, or appear in court on your behalf. If your situation is contested, insolvent, or complicated, hire an attorney licensed in your state. Most state bar associations run a referral service.
Nothing is for sale yet
Today this website does two things: it tells you which procedure your state is likely to provide, and it takes your email address so we can send you a checklist. We are not yet preparing documents for anyone and are not taking payment. Prices shown are what we intend to charge when the service opens, not an offer.
About the information here
We work hard to keep the statutes, dollar limits, and procedures on this site accurate, and we cite them so you can check them yourself. But laws change, courts differ by county, and your circumstances may not match the assumptions behind a general answer. The path finder tells you what a state's law likely provides for a situation like the one you described. It is a starting point, not a determination.
Verify anything that matters before you rely on it, and confirm court filing fees and procedures with the court itself. The information on this site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.
Your side of it
Give us accurate information — documents prepared from wrong answers will be wrong. Review everything before you sign or file it; you are the one filing, and you are responsible for what you file. Do not use this site to break the law or to interfere with someone else's rights in an estate.
Limits on what we owe you
To the fullest extent the law allows, Farvel HQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or the information on it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us — which, while the service is pre-launch, is nothing.
Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
The rest
The text, design, and content of this site belong to us; the statutes we cite belong to everyone. We may change these terms, and we may change or withdraw the site. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Nevada.
